Describe your art/craft?
Drawing, painting and prints of Classic VW camper vans and cars, contemporary art of sea and landscapes.
How long have you been creating? How did you learn your craft or were you self-taught?
Started as a full time artist around 5 years ago, however been making art from an early age, studied commercial art at Rochester college of Art & Design however went on to have career as a Jewellery Designer.
What are your favourite art/craft 'tools of the trade'?
it's got to be my brushes and drawing pens for creating great sources of marks and texture.
Where is your creative space?
At VW shows around the country sketching & taking photos for new work. Plein air painting / sketching for studio Sea & landscapes.
What do you watch or listen to when you're creating?
Old skill music, Northern Soul, Beach boys, The eagles and Bruce Springsteen to get me in the zone.
What's your best selling product?
My vw camper van and Beetle prints.
Favourite thing you've ever created? Do you still have it, or did you sell/gift it?
Contemporary oil of a VW camper van I kept it.
Random fact about yourself?
Previous profession Jewellery Designer, maker & gemstone setter.
What new craft would you love to try?
Lino cutting, I'm giving it a go this year.
