Describe your art/craft?
My Handmade Seaglass Jewellery designs are all coastal inspired and are all one off pieces., using wire wrap in different colours and sizes. No two Seaglass pieces are every the same, which makes each piece personal to that individual.
How long have you been creating? How did you learn your craft or were you self-taught?
No one knows what they are capable of until they try… that’s what I did, in lockdown. It just came about when I picked up some Seaglass on the beach. Simple as that…had a play about with some wire and some pliers and found I could actually make something that looks like an earring… the rest is history …
What are your favourite art/craft 'tools of the trade'?
I use 3 tools… that’s it..
Where is your creative space?
In my “whittling room”
What do you watch or listen to when you're creating?
Always “chill”” radio
What's your best selling product?
My Swirl Wire Wrap Earrings
Favourite thing you've ever created? Do you still have it, or did you sell/gift it?
I still have the first necklace I made.. it’s awful…I’ve kept it just so I always can see just how far I’ve come..
Random fact about yourself?
It’s not really a fact, but I say to myself every day.. “today is another day… so enjoy it”
