Curly Jo Crochet is a lover of all things crocheted and makes the most delightful, fun and colourful keyrings and other woolly treats...
What's your favourite veg? carrots, garlic or maybe Brussles sprouts? Jo can crochet it...
Fancy some fruit for your five-a-day? Not a problem, Jo can whip up plums, strawberries, apples or even a crazy troop of bananas!!
Love plants but terrible at keeping them? Guess who can help? Yup Jo has a wonderful woolly plant nursery of cacti, orchids, African violets and even a money plant.
And to top this all off Jo even creates the most adorable 'pigs in blankets' perfect for anyone whether you're a meat eater or a veggiesaurus (seriously what's not to love?).

Interview With A Maker
Name/Business
Curly Jo Crochet
Describe your art/craft?
Crocheted keyrings and gifts
How long have you been creating? How did you learn your craft or were you self-taught?
A very kind friend taught me about 12 years ago. At first I just couldn't get it but practised ALOT and now I just can't stop!!
What are your favourite art/craft 'tools of the trade'?
I wouldn't be able to do what I do without my trusty Clover Soft Touch crochet hooks. I find them so easy to work with.
Where is your creative space?
I dream of one day owning a cabin in the garden but for the time being you'll find me curled up on the sofa surrounded by many balls of wool.
What do you watch or listen to when you're creating?
I love a good box set or film but it has to be easy to watch otherwise I lose the plot!!!
What's your best selling product?
Would you believe, it's my fruity or veggie keyrings but not one is a particular favourite. One market it can be all about the carrots, next it's radishes, at another it could be bananas so I have to make sure I have plenty of each. Having said that at Christmas by best sellers are my Pigs in Blankets. They literally fly off my stall!!
Favourite thing you've ever created? Do you still have it, or did you sell/gift it?
Oh Gosh! I don't think I can actually pin point it to one item. However I'm very proud of the blankets I've made as they took quite a while to complete. Therefore I would never sell them. They live in my lounge.
Random fact about yourself?
My favourite flavour ice cream is vanilla!! I know, that makes me sound boring but I love it, especially when served with apple crumble!! Yum!!
What new craft would you love to try?
I've always fancied giving pottery a go.
Where can customers buy your products?
My products are available to buy on Etsy or send me a message via Facebook, Instagram or by text for custom orders or something I've already made. I'm always posting new creations on Social Media. I have a few Keyrings for sale in a few shops - Bookbugs & Dragontales and Rosies in Norwich and also available in Lovelace & Green in East Horsley, Surrey.
Give a shout-out to a fellow artist or crafter you admire!
I admire Lucy @ Attic24. Although I've never met her, I absolutely love her creations and use her patterns often. I also follow her on Instagram.
