Bev makes unique papercut art, all in her own original designs, which are cut from a single sheet of paper using her clever skills with a scalpel. How long have you been creating? How did you learn your craft or were you self-taught?
Always loved crafting & have done many different crafts over the years, started papercutting just over 5 years ago, self taught. Also love to crochet.
What are your favourite art/craft 'tools of the trade'?
My very sharp Fiskars craft knife
Where is your creative space?
Desk in the study
What do you watch or listen to when you're creating?
Usually the radio or often just enjoy the peace & quiet!
What's your best selling product?
Personalised Family trees
What is your most favourite piece of work you've ever created? Do you still have it, or did you sell/gift it?
That's a tricky one, every time I make a new design I love it but would narrow it down to my Seaside or campervan papercuts. Still have the campervan one!
Random fact about yourself?
I used to be a primary school teacher
What new craft would you love to try?
I once tried dichroic glass work so would love to try that again.
